Certificate failure #757
Comments
Ok, that's settled! I just re-run the installation process again. Runs again! :-) Have a great day... |
Got the same problem, but I didn't do the install myself (was done by a colleague 3 years ago and he left ) EDIT: Reinstalled the vpn completely |
How do I get off this thread… I have unsubscribed 6 times and I continue to get email updates ??? |
Just FYI, this is because the server cert is signed for 825 days when you create it initially. |
I noticed this length. What is the solution? |
The solution to an expired certificate? You'd need to generate a new one, most likely by re-running the installation process again. While you're at it, you may or may not want to increase the length of the server cert validity from 825 days to something else. |
Hello!
I suddenly get the following message (OpenVPN Client) "Peer certificate verification failure". Nothing has been changed in the configuration for over two years and the server or Docker container has not been restarted.
What can be the problem and how can I create a new certificate from the "Container Shell/Console"?
I'm not getting any further with the commands from the documentation right now...
Thanks in advance for any help and hints!
:-)
Have a great day!
