This means that, based on supported-versions.php (or similar database), we can automatically delete branches with X.Y.x naming, and all their associated open milestones, when the PHP version goes EOL.
Since this is laminas-specific, and not really pertinent to release automation per-se, it may be a concern for a different tool, or a specific action within this tool.

The Laminas organization has a relatively straightforward support policy of not supporting any version that depends on a PHP release that is EOL'd:
