As it stands, the voltage magnitude at the reference bus can vary within vmin and vmax, and the optimization tends to push the voltage to the boundaries to minimise network losses. Therefore, constraints to enforce provision of only positive sequence (or minimal negative and zero sequence) voltage at the reference bus would be practical.
