The original intent of -quiet was to suppress this type of output:
$ larceny -nobanner -quiet
larceny.heap, built on Sun Aug 6 01:16:56 EDT 2017
I don't think this is a recent change though; 1.1 seems to have the same issue. But in 1.1 I could run larceny with -r5rs which appears to suppress the output; in 1.3 I no longer can, since I want -nofoldcase.
