Images located in a sprinkle can't be accessed easily as the assets.url Twig function included with UF is not available in markdown. A simple fix would be to have either a custom image block (!![Alt](url)) or overwriting the default syntax to search path in a sprinkle or have a custom inline block to get the URL.
