I am able to access my Alfen via my Widows VM (user owner)
so IP address is available and USer also works.
But I always get this error message

Can you help me?

Not sure if this is your problem but when my wallbox was installed I asked the installer to enable TCP/Modbus.

I have already been using the integration of “egnerfl
alfen_wallbox” for a long time. so I would say it is already active.
But I'll see if I can find it as an owner in the settings.
And i am able to ping my Box.

Alfen wallbox only allows 1 login at the same time as far as I understood.
So if you are already logged in through any other way, you'll have to logout first before you can use the integration.
That's why this integration has a login and logout button, so you can quickly logout from the integration if you want to connect to the wallbox via the ace installer.
Once you did your changes via the ace installer (and logout), you can login again in the intergration, and it will continue to monitor your wallbox. 😉

Of course, I logged out of the ACE Service App beforehand.
Unfortunately still without success.
Have reset the Alfen to factory settings today.
But I still can't log in via the “owner” account. :-(
It works with the ACE Service App.

I have just set up a new Rspi.
Pure HA image

  • HACS

Same VLAN (no FireWall etc in between)

And from my VM (same network) I can log in with the Alfen tool.
From this follows:

  • Password and user work
  • LAN communication also works

for me it looks like an authentication issue....

Just to be on the safe side:
Host: = IP address of the WallBox in my case 10.0.10.168
User: = Tried with “admin” and “owner”
Password: = My password from “owner”
Friendly Name: = No matter what

Are there special character in the password like ' or " or something like that?

No... Only only letters and numbers

Is the charger in the same network segment (IP subnet) as Home Assistant?
I had a similar problem
it looks like you are going from a 192.168.x.x network to a 10.x.x.x network.

This behavior may have to do with the preference for gateway for the SIM or local network.
for me it worked to put the charger in the same network as Home assistant.
I hope this works for you

Yes, they are both in the same LAN segment....
10.0.10.168 WallBox
10.0.10.10 HA

Can you take a look in the log of ha if you see something about the alfen components error or warnings?

You are also sure that there is only one connection? So your windows app is LOG OUT and also logout on the myeve app before you use HA?

yes 100%.
I always logged out of Windows and even disconnected the Alfen from the power supply once and restarted it
