Notice: main will be phased out. v1 and v2 will be for stable releases

The title says it all, but in coming days I will be doing the following

• Move the current content of main branch into v1 branch
• v1 and v2 will be where stable release reside.
• Create a develop/v1 and develop/v2 for development for respective versions
• Change the default branch to v2
• Use of main will be phased out gradually.

If you have scripts et al that assumes main = v1, please change them accordingly
