PPSSPP core crashes when any saves are made, also crashes when returning to game from RetroArch menu. Core won't recognize the PPSSPP asset files that are downloaded separately.
Core information directs user to place the extra files in sys/ppsspp/ however, no such directory exists in the Snap version of RetroArch. Attempting to manually create a sys/ppsspp/ directory within the Snap configuration is ineffective.

UPDATE:ASSET FILES FIX: With the System/BIOS directory set to > Content dir <, rename the assets folder to PPSSPP , then place it in the same directory as the psp game.iso.

You should be able to set your 'system' directory to anywhere you like. I have mine on a network drive.

But yeah, PPSSPP has been crashy lately. We're working on it.

this core seems to be working for me now. Is this still an issue for you?
