Not receiving push after device restart

Hi,

Not receiving push on restarting the device however it was working fine in the previous release (version 0.5). Also, earlier i was following the traditional approach(2.x) but now i am using alloy(3.1.0).
In the earlier approach the module was creating the notification in the notification center on its own but was not making any sound and on clicking the notification , no action was performed (it should have opened the application) but now it is not creating notification in the notification center.
I have created a custom notification in the callback function of gcm . The notification works as expected if the application is running in the background however if we restart the device , no notifications are received unless we start the application once.

Could you please help?
