There is now a new utility on Linux Mint 19.3 mate which monitors the system and detects certain problems and gives the Linux user the opportunity to fix/resolve those problems, 2 examples would be that the Timeshift function has not been setup or perhaps that there are some new language packs that need to be installed.
The problem that I have observed about this new utility is that when the user chooses to correct one of the problems that has been detected and when the correction has been applied by the utility that, the utility momentarily comes back to (i.e. displays a screen regarding the problem and fix that has just been applied/finished and then it goes into the process of going thru the detection process again to see what (if any) problem(s) might still exist on the system.
My point is, that when that momentary display comes on the display screen on the problem that was just fixed that a novice users (especially if they have a fairly old/slow computer) are going to say to themselves well I just told the utility to fix that problem and it is flashing it up on the screen again. And they may (if possible interrupt the utilities function).
What SHOULD happen in the utility is that after it has fixed the problem that the user specifies, it should give the computer a CLEAR message that the chosen problem has been fixed OR it should just immediately go into its next phase of reexamining the system to see if there are any other/further problems that have not been fixed. THANKS.
