In the section on manual entries, do you think it would be worth adding a sentence on what a BibTeX format/entry/file is..? I was imagining this as a completely new user, so I would perhaps stumble across this and think oh cool, what is that?

Also here:
"Less commonly, you may need to import references from other software. To do this, export the references from the software in a compatible format, and import them into Zotero. Zotero can import references from a variety of formats, including BibTex, RIS, and EndNote XML."

This may be partially redundant since you mentioned BibTeX and RIS above as well?

A more general question is also what you mean by "reference saved correctly". Users will quickly realise that imported references vary in terms of the information they come with and wonder if for instance all empty fields in the info tab of a reference need to be filled? Perhaps some more guidance on what information is critical and which is potentially more of an extra/optional info?

I realised that the BibTeX tip comes a chapter later - perhaps worth adding a little earlier? What are your thoughts on this?
