Probably beyond the scope but worth a thought: I was surprised not to see LaTeX/Overleaf mentioned here - maybe this could be something to discuss if this is used/needed? At my previous unis, LaTeX was used quite a lot (also in combination with Version Control) but I guess this is a preference? Or perhaps ease of collaboration is different? Just curious about this!
