MidiEditor is great! However, it's sometimes confusing when trying to transpose or add a note, that the lines with the lightblue background actually are for white keys and the alternating color doesnt really give a clue about where the note will land (i know that the matching key gets highlighted).

It would be great to have white rows for white keys and lightblue rows for lightblue keys.

Yes, there would be two white rows next to each other at B, C and at E, F (i would suggest to add a lightblue border between them). But it would be possible to know which key the mouse is about to hit from the pattern of 2 lightblue rows for the CIS and DIS between C, D, E versus 3 lihtblue rows for FIS, GIS, AIS between F, G, H, A. This would mirror the idea behind Klavarskribo, an alternative notation based on the pattern that is on the keyboard.
