It seems that there is quite a bit of scope for configuring the way the sounds are generated. Currently AudioChart is designed for content authors to use to make charts accessible, and this should continue and be as easy as possible for them to do.
There are two situations in which maybe a WebExtension could complement the main focus of AudioChart:
To allow users to customise/configure the way the sounds are generated.
To make charts audible even if the site does not include AudioChart already (would need some site-specific heuristics most likely).
