Hi,

I don't understand "Track user information for logged-in users " checkbox, what do that mean ?
Is it "limit tracking to looged in users" ? or "Track user information when logged in" ?
or "Don't track anonymous" ?

Please enlighten me :-)

Thanks
Regards

Hello @Vartkat,

You are right, that sentence is not explicit. When you check that box, the WordPress specific user details (email, firstname, lastname, pseudo, registration date, display name) are sent to Mautic inside each tracking event.

Those details are only sent when the user is logged in (so when we know who it is). The value for those fields can be edited by the user inside the WordPress admin panel (in his own user profile).

It does not limit tracking to logged in users but add more details when the users are logged in.

I hope this is clearer 😄. If you have a better sentence to explain that, I'll be glad to use it !
