i played around with crdt a few times in the paste and history and the associated garbage collection ( of the data , not objects ) was a sticking point .
You can use this is browser clients, fats desktops clients and servers. So it solves both server sync between regions and also client sync between browsers.
The other cool thing is that there are about 30 other SQLite e tensions now being organised in a golang system . See vlcn-io/cr-sqlite#382 (comment)

it’s relieve the to marmot in that it’s also dealing with changes in a cluster of SQLite.
I have not had a chance to try it out yet the crew at fly.io are also experimenting with it .
