SSL certificate renewal

Hi! Question about the SSL certificate renewal with certbot.

When I run get-wildcard-cert shell script I receive prompt that I will have to make manual renewal once again close to expiry date. And I also see the prompt that in order to automate that I have to provide authentication hook script with extra certbot parameter.

Do I understand correctly, that I have to implement this authentication hook on my own or I just don't understand something and auto renewal is already handled? 😅
