Inventory kit setup should show the product name as well as the variant

I'm not sure if this is a feature request or a bug report, but I'm trying to explore if MedusaJS is an option for a client, and the big issue we need to resolve is whether inventory kits will work for us or not. Conceptually speaking they will, as we need to bundle up bicycle part products (frame, build kits, shock) into complete bike products, and have the common parts inventory managed across the complete bike products. So that will all work just fine.

My issue is with the admin setup. During the inventory kit step, you're presented with an "item" dropdown that lists all the available variants that can be bundled. The problem is, it only lists the variant name, and not the associated product. So if I have ten bike frames that all have the same variants (say size/color), then I'm just shown ten "Small/Black", as opposed to "Bike frame 1 - Small/Black, Bike frame 2 - Small/Black ... Bike frame 10 - Small/Black". It makes it essentially impossible to create the kits.

So I'm curious if this is a feature request, in which case I would suggest that the product name be added to the dropdown, or if I'm just missing something.
