WebSocket connection to 'wss://domain/sockjs/163/h0c16r5q/websocket' failed: WebSocket is closed before the connection is established.

I suspect cluster could be the blame, but have no proof just yet.

This happens 3-4 times per hour in meteor run mode

was it to blame? i started getting this error too recently

I just started seeing this error as well. Did you guys figure anything out?

If it helps, the issue was prevalent on an iphone 4s with ios 7.1... since upgrading the phone to latest ios version, the issue hasn't cropped up. I tried to revert to ios 7.1 to confirm... but that process didn't go as planned.
