Segmentation fault on minimizer index construction #1

Hello,

When I run the following command:

./makeindex -db a.trop -idx a.trop_minM -k 12 -w 100 -m 3

I get the following error:

Segmentation fault: 11

The databased is constructed fine and is in the same directory.
