ERROR after latest update #13

I get the following error after upgrading the extension. Also the clock does not show.

I'm on GNOME Shell 3.36.4 and Ubuntu 20.04

That's so weird. I get that too, but only if I install it via the browser plugin. I've confirmed that the files that are installed are identical to the ones I develop with (other than the manifest being re-sorted, but that's not going to cause this sort of issue).

I also can't reproduce it in a sub-shell, which makes debugging this pretty tricky.

I can't confirm right now, but I suspect it'll be solved for the next login; is that what happens for you?
