Description

Text is very difficult to read at all points in the sample exclusively on Quest 2

Screenshot

com Microsoft UXToolsGame-20220912-130830

Large text can be seen, but is still sort of warped
Medium text can be read when the user gets closer to the UI
Small text, like the buttons seen in the image, are near impossible to read at any distance

Repro Steps

  • Build on Quest 2 from Unreal v5.03
  • Issue seen when launching on device

Other notes

Text was clear as expected when built on HL2

Thanks for reporting this @Clandguth . You're totally right, that doesn't look good. I'd like to fix it but we don't have the resources to tackle anything but the most pressing issues for the time being. If you want to give it a go and post a pull request, I'll make sure we find the time to review it.

Definitely something I'll take some time to look at in the future. Thanks for the response

Hi @Clandguth ! I was wondering if you were able to get your hands tracked on Oculus Quest 2 using UXtools in UE 5.03??

I'll put a note down and aim to try it out this week. I've been focusing on the Unity branch recently, but should have time to check it out soon
