Sometimes seems the 2nd venv couldn't load the python interpreter normally, so all the import libs coudn't be recoginzed

The 2nd venv on my laptop somehow lost the python interpreter now and then while the 1st venv works well. The thing is the code can still be exeucted however the imported libs could not be recognized in editor window as the attached, and the python: select interpreter in command window has no response to the click.

@Hui-Xiaoyang Try running Python: clear cache and reload. It should reset any internal state, and hopefully recover the environment.

In an external terminal can you run the python from that terminal? See if you can run both the pythons there. Also, what does the log for Output > Python show?

yes, the python can run from the windows cmd termial. There is nothing under output tag. I also found the extesion continue doesn't work in this venv as well, looks like it is pending. It is also without proplem in the other venv. Not sure if it is too many libs in this venv and used up the memory? Thanks！

Ok, thanks for your time, I'll see how to file the issue. BTW, I set up the 3rd venv and it seems also ok. in the good case, it will display interpreter details when I click on the python version on the bottom left, while in the bad case, it show nothing.

It might be that your second environment may have been corrupted. That can happen sometimes, it will work partially. Looks like the 3rd env is working fine. If you run into this issue again, please create a bug.
