This is really a feature I'm missing in comparison to PyCharm. Is this still something that is being considered? Especially when diffs are a bit bigger, you usually just get ...Full output truncated (29 lines hidden), use '-vv' to show shown in VS Code. I rarely use the Pytest integration due to this and fall back to manual CLI execution.

I would also really love to see this feature being added. Currently, it almost forces me to go back using Pycharm which has great support for pytest assertion diffs.
