#24637 is caused due to microsoft/python-environment-tools#184

One thing you can do as a work around is to set python.locator to js in User Settings.

This issue is caused when conda is installed in the environment. This is a nested conda scenario where we find two conda executables, and the internal calculation of which conda to use and the path to use fails.
