Type: Bug

  1. Press Cmd+\.
  2. Observe it does not trigger default action of Split Editor.

This still occurs with all extensions disabled and only seems to be an issue on macOS (equivalent windows shortcut works fine).

I can see that there is a previous issue that reported this same bug but was closed due to lack of information.

Cmd is detected but \ is not. Pressing \ with other modifier keys seems to work.

Any chance that cmd+\ is a keyboard shortcut bound globally on your macOS system?
