Portable exe and buggy installer (for winget)

So I have a program that previously displayed a static name / version in ARP, and a current installer that fails the automated checks when submitted to winget (see #213818). I don't know why there are issues with validation.

Is there any way to handle this so that if it finds any matching entry in the ARP it's treated as an old version and uninstalls it?

Current installer name and version are correct in ARP (Quest Package Manager), but previous installers had the name of qpm version 0.1.0 with 0.1.0 set as the version.

I'd like to just skip the installer and just use the portable exe for future versions (while removing previous installed versions)
