@mifi
Windows .exe version

I thought it was "normal" that the bot wouldnt work unless it was the active window... but, I just read that some people run multiple bots on the same IP/device.

Question: Is it normal for the windows version of instauto (SimpleInstaBot) to NOT follow/unfollow properly unless the headless chrome windows is the active window?

It navigates URL without an issue, but actually clicking Follow/Unfollow only works (for me) when the browser window is active.

It's fairly annoying as I can only use it for one account and have a dedicated machine for it. Thinking about using the linux version & maybe run multiple instances instead of using the Windows SimpleInstaBot.

i have no idea what's normal or not, because i don't collect any statistics. not sure where you found the exe version though, because instauto doesn't have any exe file (it's a node js module)
