Clean up Projects Directory

Describe enhancement or capability desired:

The current project directory in STT is a mess:
(1) old projects remain that don't work
(2) process chains are intermingled with projects making things rather 
confusing to even those of us developing STT; even worst for users trying 
to explore STT capabilities

Tasks:
(1) clean out old projects
(2) set up a separate process directory (this will require process paths 
in existing projects to be redirected)
