Hi, same issue for me, switching to Firefox, edge, safari, vpn, chrome, incognito mode……but nothing! Still temporary locked, not banned and not x rules violated…..its frustrating af! I’m guessing if the problem it’s about dns or compromised ip 🤷🏻♂️ Im also a premium user with blue check! |

Okay so this morning (Nov 25th) I posted art on Twitter. As per usual I shared it with friends via direct message one at a time but just when I was finished I was told I was “automated” or something then I was locked out of my account. If you’ve never had this happen they have this authentication thing where you have to prove you’re human with a few tests to make things match up. The thing is I passed it once but it wouldn’t accept it so I tried again, same problem. I tried a few more times each time I passed the test. Then I got this You have exceeded the number of allowed attempts. Please try again later. and I waited 3 hours it was still a problem. I updated my password but that wasn’t enough. It’s now midnight Nov 26th and I am still locked out. I did contact people on Twitter via contact support and they said they’d look into it. I’m apparently “temporarily restricted” according to a friend who checked on my account, it DOES still exist, I’m just worried I won’t be able to get back into it. I’ve had it since 2013 and I have several followers and supporters of my art. It just boils down to pessimism, anxiety, and having an autistic obsession and desire for the problem to be resolved. I just want back into my account because it is how I make a living and stuff I have tried all day to get into the account. I got the recaptcha things right but they wouldn’t accept the results |

If you've tried to login and been forced to answer an arkrose challenge/captcha with 10 questions, only for twitter/x.com to tell you this upon proving you're human:
Where clicking the "try again" button does nothing, probably encountering the same error, and going back to the home page or signing in again gives you just gives you another arkrose challenge, which results in the same error when you solve it...
And, if you bother contacting support, you get an automated email that doesn't match the problem:
Try logging in on chrome instead of firefox. Got 1 question instead of 10, solving it immediately unlocked the account, and was not required to select my country or add a phone number.
Flaming dumpster of a website, hope this post helps someone else.
