So far as I know, some old versions(2.2.x, earlier versions of 2.3.x) could lead to data loss due to GC bugs. For v2.4.x, we didn't get any reports like yours. |

I can provide another view. Do you have other clusters (e.g test-cluster, development cluster) using the same ETCD with a same rootPath?(should use a different one) It will lead to meta data mess-up and inconsistency, and GC will probably delete wrong files. |

Today I find that some collections created before is gone:
And before that, the queryNode pod was restarted multiple times, with the following logs:
proxy log:
We use kafka as message broker and BOS(Baidu Object Storage) as S3 service.
Upon checking S3, the corresponding folder under the path is missing. If we rule out S3 data loss, what could potentially cause the entire segment to be deleted? Thanks for any helps.
