There seems to be a high overhead per chain. So when visualizing compartments as 100s of chains, you can watch your RAM being eaten and not freed. This is not a problem when visualizing O(1) chains, even when they contain way more atoms (500 frame video of uniform polymer vs. 1 frame with compartments)
Overall heavy on memory (might be okay), looks like when plotting repeatedly allocated memory is not freed
