http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/opendata/viewer/ provides access to UK OS maps.
A key is required, but it appears to be openly viewable in the source code.
But, the definition of the tile coordinates and size appear somewhat different.

Is this a possibly for an addition to providers.xml?
