You'll probably need to hack the theme if you want to do this. You could add front matter to your posts like: ---
title: "Very cool page"
subtitle: "You're going to love this."
permalink: /cool
--- And then add it to whatever layout you're using with: {% if page.subtitle %}{{ page.subtitle }}{% endif %} A good place for that would be right after the page's title with whatever styling you'd need. |

For anyone else ending up here: you don't need to hack the theme. You can just populate the Example: <!-- _includes/page__meta.html -->
{% if page.subtitle %}
<p id="page-subtitle" class="page__subtitle p-name" itemprop="headline">
{{ page.subtitle }}
</p>
{% endif %}

Description
Is it possible to add a sub-title to my pages? I hacked this by adding a block at the top of my markdown pages but there is still an odd looking gap between the title and the subtitle.
