HI,

I was reading the MOD devices documentation, it says that if you have the MOD Web app open you can't change the pedalboards/snapshots using MIDI.

This behavior also happens with the Live ISO.

It would be possibile to enable the snapshot change via MIDI using the Program Change MIDI command also in the Live ISO?

This behavior happens also in the mod-ui compiled on X86, the Program Change does nothing in the banks or the snapshots. I've used the midi-display LV2 plugin and the MIDI commands are received correctly.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Alessio.

There is a PR open on the mod-ui project for this, need to check it again and merge.
So it is something that will be working eventually.

Oh thanks, I didn't see it. The PR is actually regarding the enable of the MIDI program changes when the web session is closed, I'd like to have them when the session is open.

Should i try to put the PR commits (al least the part that enables back the MIDI program change in the host) inside "if not hmi.initialized"?

The problem I see is that with the Live ISO, probably the FakeHMI is used, and it does not contain any definition to manage the messages that pop up in the queue like a real HMI. So even if I enable the monitor_midi_program then no one is managing the messages arrived via MIDI.
