Freeze URI on an Articles Container #101

I was looking to freeze the URI for the Articles Container like I can do for normal resources but I was unable to find an option for it. I managed to achieve it by manually editing the database but I was wondering if this option could be added into the backend? Was there a particular reason it was removed?
