I'm not at work right now, so I'll get more info in the morning.

but gist is, whenever a resource is loaded that has a :pthumb= in the template, the resource will 500.
There was nothing in the error log that showed any issues.

Like I said, more info in the morning...

@Frankie-tech what version is the Resizer Extra, if you please?

sure thing! before uninstalling it was 1.0.2-beta

I don't know if it's worth anything, but knowledge is power, we've swapped back to phpthumbof for the time being and it hasn't caused any issues.
