1) Well, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
2) It is no longer receiving Security Updates, so that may urge you to =
upgrade.

If that's useful, then you should upgrade.

You can give the new version a try while on Tiger if you want to install =
MacPorts.

That seems bizarre to me. I'd do a little google investigation about =
that rather than trust one salesman.
