About ODF calculation

Hi, let me ask one question about ODF calculation from PF in MTEX. Does it treat PF as symmetry PF or as asymmetry PF ? I mean when I import EBSD data, does MTEX fold PF to 1/4 or import it as it is ?

If I understand correctly, I think the answer is it imports the data as they are. However, once the crystal symmetry is defined, orientations and their plots can be projected to a fundamental region of symmetry. Separately, but symmetry related, you can adjust the specimen symmetry.
