v2.4.0b19 - Play Next into existing playing Queue is ignored

This has existed for a few betas, at least. When using Play Next to add a single track to an existing playing Queue, MA simply ignores the track and skips over it, as if it was never added to the Queue. I caught this one on video. I added "Incubus - Warning" directly from it's track listing in MA while Green Day was actively playing. At the end of the track, MA just skips to Linkin Park as if I never added the Incubus track.

Can anyone else confirm this behavior?

How close to the end of the currently playing track did you add the new one?

Very early on into first track playback. And I'm not using Flow Mode.

Also, these are all locally stored MP3s. No streaming services involved. GCast Speakers. Doesn't matter if individual or group, same behavior.
