Replace the current Waybar network module with nm-applet. Ideally, increase the icon size to match other icons for consistency. This change would improve user experience by offering a more seamless interface and eliminate the need for nmtui, which occupies too much screen space. Let me know your thoughts.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to replace the current Waybar network module with nm-applet for a smoother user experience. Additionally, I'd appreciate it if the nm-applet icon size could be adjusted to match the other icons, ensuring visual consistency across the interface. This would eliminate the need for nmtui and provide a more streamlined approach to network management.
Right, what I actually want is to replace the current network module with the setup I’m suggesting, making it public for everyone, but that’s only if the idea is accepted. I reckon it’d align with most, if not all, users. That’s just my take, though. It also looks more polished and user-friendly when done this way. So, when we toggle the network module in the settings app, it should actually toggle the nm-applet with the icon I’m talking about.
