I am currently working on an isolation layer for embedded systems, and I'm exploring the possibility of using Firejail to isolate ROS 2 (Robot Operating System 2) nodes and/or applications.
While I'm excited about Firejail's potential for sandboxing, I haven't found much information on whether it has been successfully used for isolating ROS 2 apps/nodes. My initial attempts to get it working out of the box have not been successful.
Before diving deeper into understanding the feasibility of this approach and investing more time into it, I decided to reach out here and see if anyone here has experience with or has attempted to use Firejail for ROS 2 isolation.
If you have any insights, suggestions, or tips on achieving this, or if you can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it since it would help me make an informed decision regarding using Firejail for my project.
Thank you in advance for your support.
