It's nice that Nextcloud disables most notifications by default. But it would be good if it was easier to find the settings and enable them.

That's a very good quality-of-life suggestion and I also like your specific proposal @kaffeeringe! :)

To make it even more understandable and in line with other apps having "[Appname] settings" on the bottom left of the navigation, the wording and placement could be "Notification settings" with a settings icon on the bottom left of the notifications popover.
