cursor goes heywire during animations

Hey Nick,

I'm testing on FF 33 on MacOS and it's very smooth on my end. Can you help me reproduce this? What's the code you are running? Which exact build version of FF are you using? On which platform?

Firefox 36.0a1 (2014-10-14) (currently Nightly).
STR:

1. goto here
2. click Run under Status Icons while keeping cursor hovered over Run button
3. click Run under Reset
4. repeat steps 2 & 3.

Expected:
smooth animation

Actual:
cursor frequently swaps back and forth between default and pointer
