This was assigned to Rick and myself, but I don't have any context and the description doesn't explain what's needed. If something is needed, please explain what it is and why. What, specifically, is broken now or needs to be improved; who's being affected & how by its lack?

@lliming I added us, largely because we need to document how permissions are being managed through Globus. As in, which systems (WordPress, portal, submissions, etc.) use Globus for access, and how we track those groups.
