AeroSpace and Sketchybar in nix-darwin

Hi,

Has anyone got the exec-on-workspace change working with aerospace in nix-darwin?

I can't get it to work unless they are managed manually and installed by brew. I assume it has something to do with running as a service.

It's working fine for me. My config is very much a work in progress though and I'm using the sketchybar lua stuff. I plan on a bunch of updates to it, but if you want to try out my setup, it's an all-in-one flake: nix run github.com:zmre/aerospace-sketchybar-nix-lua-config

Note: this uses a hack to get aerospace to use a sandboxed config by setting the XDG_CONFIG variable to trick Aerospace, but if you already have a ~/.aerospace.toml it might use that instead in which case I'm not sure my setup will work for you. I sure wish we could set an env var or else use a command line argument to point to a specific config.

/nix/store/.../AeroSpace.app/Contents/MacOS/AeroSpace --config-path ....

You can see all options by running: /nix/store/.../AeroSpace.app/Contents/MacOS/AeroSpace -h

For what it's worth, I updated my flake to use this trick and to be a little nicer in general and updated my config to be cleaner and less buggy so if anyone is looking for a nix starting point, my setup might be helpful and suggestions are welcome.
