Downloaded the app from the App Store and added to safari (and enabled). On videos that do have ads, the ad is successfully sped through or skipped, but the video frame becomes black. I can hear the video audio and the video running, but cannot interact with or see the video at all. This issue does not happen when videos do not have ads.

Safari Version 17.3.1
MacBook M3 Pro
MacOS Sanoma 14.3.1

If needed I can provide a snippet the web page HTML or any other details. Looking forward to using the app.

Hey there!

From version 2 and up it does not skip or speed up the ads. It simply replaces the player with the embedded version of the video (where YouTube does not show ads at all). Can you verify that you are using v2.1 and that the embedded version is properly loaded? Theatre mode will not be available and when you pause it should show the "more videos" section. From developer tools, it must show the custom-embed when you click on the video like in the image below.

It's not clear to me what's the issue here because I am also using safari 17.5 on Sonoma 14.5 and I don't have any issues. Check the above mentioned and we will figure it out. Not sure what you mean with iOS app. This extension only works in macOS.
