Partially solved this issue, still a bit unstable. If you have a better way to achieve this let me know!

Hey all,
I'm having a bit of trouble implementing my preferred prefix strategy.
Nuxt2 I used
prefix_except_default
which worked perfectly alongside the content moduleWith nuxt3 I haven't been able to get the same results. The current strategy I'm using is
prefix
which doesn't automatically detect the locale unlessalwaysRedirect: true
is enabled. I've got it working extremely well at the moment but since it needs to render the /locale for the default apex domain, bots cannot successfully crawl. Which after releasing I'm now noticing issues with.Using beta.7
Here's my current
nuxt.config.ts
Current content module configuration to render posts;
pages/blog/index.vue
Content File structure
locale > blog > content.md
Switching to the
prefix_except_default
strategy, issue I'm having is rendering the logic for the content moduleAs I'm using
${locale.value}
the default locale is still being rendered on all the URLs how can I add logic which factors in the default locale while keeping same logic for other locales?or
Using existing setup with
prefix
how can I adjust the logic to better suit bots that may crawl the website?As my domain will 404 to bots as it's not redirecting to the locale path of
/locale
but instead/
