System Model

Linux (x86_64)

Game Version

2.0.0-indev+20250127072104

Download Source

Description

When the player sets custom keybinds in the controls menu, the binds appear in input prompts like so:
A screenshot of NZ:P in Firing Range. The player is facing a power switch, with the prompt reading "Hold F to Turn On the Power".

However - when the game is restarted, the input prompts are reset to their initial values:
A screenshot of NZ:P in Firing Range. The player is facing a power switch, with the prompt reading "Hold E to Turn On the Power".

In the example case shown above, pressing F turns on the power in both instances, and E turns on the power in the bottom instance.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Change a keybinding from the default (the easiest one to do is the interact binding)
  2. Restart the game
  3. See that the default binding (E) appears, even though your custom keybind still works
