Create a design token naming convention, consider selected CSS methodology and the interplay between the naming convention and the class/selector naming convention. Determine which values belong in tokens, which are themeable (private/public), and why.

This naming and architecture should match Figma as closely as possible.

Deliverable(s)

  • Define token naming convention/formula while explicitly considering the following (among other things)
  • Categories for tokens (e.g., Color, Spacing, Titles, etc.)
  • Theming
  • Modifiers/States
  • Relationship to CSS methodology
